Welcome to Siri Za Puzzle

Our Mission

Our mission is to help people spread joy and create emotional connections through the sending and receiving of personalized puzzle messages.

Our Inspiration

Sioux Taylor puts God first in all of her endeavors and that is what led to the creation of Siri za Puzzle. She enjoys sending and receiving amusing memes. One day she thought about modifying a meme to switch out the face on it for her grandson’s face. This sparked the idea of how fun it would be to create customized messages in the form of a puzzle that the recipient had to put together to receive the image or message.

She started by creating her own physical puzzles one by one on her Cricut machine, but knew there was a better way to offer puzzle messages online.

Siri za Puzzle Heritage

The name Siri za Puzzle (pronounced seeree za poozlay) comes from the Swahili language and means “puzzle secrets.”

In researching her genealogy, Sioux learned that some of her African ancestors came from countries where Swahili was spoken.

To honor her heritage and to pass it along to her daughter and grandsons, she decided to incorporate Swahili words into her everyday language. She called her first grandson Mjukuu—the word for grandson. And when her second grandson arrived, she used the plural form of Wajukuu—the word for grandsons. Her grandsons call her Bibi, the word for grandmother.

Kuwa na furaha! (Have fun!)
